The International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature has hereby removed the homonymy between the family-group names CHILODONTIDAE Bronn, 1859, CHILODONTINAE, an emendation of CHILODINAE Eigenmann, 1910, and CHILODONTINAE Wenz, 1938, by: 1) using its plenary power to suppress the genus-group name  Chilodon  Ehrenberg, 1834 (Ciliophora) for the purposes....
