The purpose of this application, under Articles 55.3.1 and 29 of the Code, is to remove homonymy between the family-group name Diphyini Simon, 1894 currently placed in Tetragnathidae (Araneae) and the hydrozoan family-group name Diphyidae Quoy & Gaimard, 1827.
