The purpose of this application, under Article 55.3.1 of the Code, is to remove the homonymy between the family-group name Stygnidae Handlirsch, 1906 (Arthropoda: Insecta: order incertae sedis ) and the family-group name Stygnidae Simon, 1879 (Arthropoda: Arachnida: Opiliones).
