About the Secretariat

Copyright Natural History Museum

The Commission Secretariat comprises five staff members and a Secondee from the Natural History Museum, London who deal with the preparation of Cases, Comments and Opinions and the production of the Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature. In addition, the Secretariat, in cooperation with the Commission, deals with wider procedural and organisational issues such as elections of Commissioners, amendments to the Code, liaison with ITZN on fundraising and other financial issues, as well as general enquiries.

The ICZN Secretariat is housed in the Department of Palaeontology at the Natural History Museum, London, SW7 5BD U.K.
