Generic names in genus-species combinations

I have not understood: if the specific name was originally combined with an incorrectly spelled genus, then which generic name was cited in the list?

I regard it as necessary to cite both spellings of the genus, and to indicate that the spelling of the genus in the original genus-species combination was incorrect. The nomenclaturally valid genus name to be cited in such an original genus-species combination should always be the correct spelling, regardless if the misspelled genus name in the original combination was an incorrect subsequent spelling or an unjustified emendation (Art. 51.3.1).
