Abstract:

The Commission has conserved the generic names Gigantopecten Rovereto, 1899 and Lissochlamys Sacco, 1897 for two genera of common Neogene pectinid bivalves by declaring that the names Macrochlamis Sacco, 1897 and Lissochlamis Sacco, 1897 are incorrect original spellings of Macrochlamys and Lissochlamys, respectively.
