This is a very active site (usually many posts/day) discussing topics related to taxonomy in general, but with a fairly strong interest in nomenclature as well (both plant and animal).
What is a discussion list?
A discussion list is a service that allows a group of people to communicate via e-mail. Subscribers to the list are able to send an e-mail to a special e-mail address that forwards the message to all subscribers of the lsit. In this way it is possible to have a group discussion via e-mail.
Some users prefer to have the contents of the discussion lists delivered in daily or weekly digests to limit the number of separate emails in their inbox. Most listservers offer this as an option.
