Abstract:

The purpose of this application, under Article 23.9.3 of the Code, is to conserve the prevailing usage of the widely used generic name Dactylozodes Chevrolat, 1838 for a buprestid (jewel beetle) by suppression of its little-used senior subjective synonym Lasionota Mannerheim, 1837.
